Mathematical Story Writing
Mathematics is the language through which stories of logic and creativity are told. In the Mathematical Story Writing event, participants will transform mathematical concepts into engaging narratives that captivate both the mind and imagination. Participants will be given a premise about the story and they are required to craft a short story based on the continuation of the given premise. The premise will be directly or indirectly related to some mathematical concept. The story might be set in any genre—whether it be science fiction, fantasy, or real-world. Writings must demonstrate a clear understanding of the mathematical idea and how they influence the plot or characters.

Math Art
Art and mathematics converge in the Math Art event, where participants will create visually stunning and intricate designs using graphing tools . This is where algebraic functions meet artistic expression, and the beauty of math takes shape in vibrant visuals.
Participants are required to use a graphing calculator to create original art by equations that form captivating patterns and designs. The challenge lies in using mathematical creativity to develop aesthetically pleasing works while adhering to mathematical rigor.
Rules & Regulations
1. Artwork must be created solely using a graphing calculator.(For example: Desmos)
2. Participants must bring their own devices(smartphones, laptops , etc)
3. A particular geometric shape or design will be given to all the participants. The one who manages to design it in the least amount of time will be declared the winner.
5 Minute professor
Do you have what it takes to explain a complex mathematical concept in just 5 minutes? DRMC Math Club presents 5 Minutes Professor, where participants will deliver a 5-minute speech on a specific mathematical topic provided by us. Whether it’s a theorem, concept, or an intriguing mathematical subject, your challenge is to break it down, explain it clearly, and captivate the audience—all in just 5 minutes! Think fast, speak clearly, and make your mark as a mathematical expert.
Rules and Regulations
• Only verbal explanations—no slides, boards, or other visual materials allowed.
• Open to all—no categories or divisions.
