Minecraft Ultimate Duel
(PVP 1V1) Challenge
The “Ultimate Duel Challenge” is a Minecraft 1.8.9 PvP tournament where players battle each other in duels. Each player will have identical gear, and the competition will proceed in knockout-style brackets until one player emerges as the ultimate champion.
- Game Version: Minecraft Java Edition 1.8.9
- Mode: 1v1 Duels
- Registration Fee: 300 BDT
- Max Participants: Determined based on registrations
- Prize: Announced closer to the event
Tournament Fomat
- Duel Format: Each duel consists of 3 rounds. The player who wins 2 out of 3 rounds wins the duel.
- Knockout Style: Players who win their duels advance to the next round. This continues until only one player remains as the champion.
- Match Pairing: Initial pairings will be random. Winners will proceed to fight other winners in subsequent rounds.
- Ultimate Champion: The player who wins the final duel will be declared the “Ultimate Duel Champion.”
Duel Setup and Gameplay Rules
Gear and Items
- Armor: Full diamond armor (no enchantments).
- Weapons: Diamond sword (no enchantments).
- Bows: 1 bow per player with 32 arrows.
- Other Items:
- 10 steaks for food.
- 3 splash potions of healing (instant health II).
- 1 fishing rod for tactical gameplay.
Map/Environment
- Arena: All duels will take place in a flat, enclosed PvP arena with enough space for players to maneuver.
- Starting Positions: Players will start at opposite ends of the arena.
- Time Limit: Each round will have a 5-minute time limit. If the time runs out and no player is defeated, the round is considered a draw and will not count towards the total wins.
Dual Rounds
- Best of Three: Each duel consists of 3 rounds. The player who wins 2 rounds first wins the duel.
- Draws: If a round is drawn (e.g., both players die simultaneously or the time runs out), no point is awarded to either player for that round.
- Advancement: The winner of the duel moves on to the next stage. The loser is eliminated.
General Rules
Fair Play
- Identical Gear: All players will receive the same gear at the start of each duel. Any attempts to use unauthorized mods, hacks, or cheats will result in disqualification.
- No External Interference: Players must not receive external help or interfere with other ongoing duels.
- No Camping or Stalling: Players must engage in combat. If a player is found deliberately stalling (e.g., running away constantly without engaging), they will receive a warning. Repeated offenses can result in a round loss or disqualification.
Match Procedure
- Pre-Match Setup: All players must be present and ready 10 minutes before their scheduled match. Failure to appear on time can result in automatic disqualification.
- Spectators: Only authorized spectators and event staff will be allowed in the game during duels.
- Technical Issues: In case of server or connection issues, a match may be paused and restarted if necessary. However, intentional disconnections will result in forfeiture of the match.
Disqualification
- Cheating/Exploits: Any form of cheating, hacking, or exploiting game mechanics will result in immediate disqualification.
- Unsportsmanlike Conduct: Abusive behavior, including trash talk, spamming in chat, or griefing, will result in warnings and possible disqualification upon repeated offenses.
Tournament Flow
Round Progression
- Initial Pairings: Players are randomly paired for the first round.
- Bracket Advancement: Players who win their duel advance to the next round to face other winners. Losers are eliminated.
- Finals: The last two remaining players will face each other in the grand final duel to determine the ultimate champion.
Spectating & Streaming
- Spectators: Event staff may record or stream duels.
Registration and Fees
- Registration Process: Players must register online or in person before the deadline.
- Fee: 300 BDT per participant.
- Payment: Payments must be completed before the event starts to confirm participation. Failure to pay on time will result in the cancellation of the registration.
Match Disputes and Resolution
Dispute Resolution
- Disputes: Any disputes during a match (e.g., suspected cheating or lag issues) must be raised to the event moderators immediately.
- Moderation Team: A team of event moderators will oversee the matches. Their decisions on disputes will be final.
- Rematches: In cases where technical issues significantly impact the outcome, the moderation team may call for a rematch of a round or duel.
